We run over 100 classes per week with a huge variety to help you get fit, strong and have fun whilst in a group environment. Classes include weightlifting, endurance, strength, gymnastics, HiiT & CrossFit.

Each class is coached by fully accredited professionals, with a number of years experience in both coaching & competing, so you know you are in safe hands.

Weight Lifting

This class focuses primarily on improving the technical execution of the snatch, clean and jerk. In each session athletes can expect to snatch or clean and jerk, perform dynamic drills, skill transfer drills and other supplemental exercises for the olympic lifts. Our coaches are fully accredited and have a number of years experience in both coaching and competing.

Endurance

Endurance is a calorie burning, high intensity huffy puffy class that uses running, rowing, bikes, assault bikes, skipping, plyometrics and sleds. These workouts are designed to maximise aerobic power and stamina. Participants will also learn correct techniques for running.

Strength

This class is a combination of body building exercises, Powerlifting, and strongman exercises. Athletes can expect to use a variety of different equipment which will help build strength, get lean and toned and develop coordination and balance. Strength training also contributes to improved bone density and strengthening of connective tissue, muscles and tendons.

Gymnastics

With Inner City Fitness you will learn the skills, drills and progressions to execute gymnastic movements like pull ups, ring work, handstand holds and handstand walking. Gymnastic conditioning is a lengthy process and relies on a strong core. This class is suitable for anyone wanting to improve their conditioning for these bodyweight style exercises!

Hiit

HIIT, or 'High Intensity Interval Training' uses a variety of equipment & movements like dumbbells, kettlebells, powerbags, bands, tyres & boxing to achieve a great all-over workout. HIIT will increase your fitness level, strength, mobility & coordination. This class does not use barbells or gymnastic movements, making it suitable for all levels of fitness.

Crossfit

CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements, performed at high intensity. Although CrossFit can have a reputation as being intense and complex it is universally scaleable and all abilities can take part! Our professional CrossFit coaches have the knowledge to guide you safely through the movements. CrossFit workouts are a combination of gymnastics, cardio, weight lifting and bodyweight exercises. If you are after a well rounded, fun and motivating workout, CrossFit is for you!
